How information is handled on SafeSEL

SafeSEL is operated by Sophia, who also runs the SafeSEL shop on Etsy. This policy explains the current website setup. It will be updated if new features such as analytics, accounts, forms or newsletters are introduced.
Information you provide directly
This website currently has no user accounts, onsite checkout, newsletter form or contact form. SafeSEL therefore does not intentionally collect names, addresses, payment details or children’s personal information through the website.
Technical information
Vercel hosts and delivers the website. Like most hosting providers, it may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, security signals and error logs to provide, protect and troubleshoot the service.
Etsy purchases
Product links lead to Etsy. Checkout, payment, digital delivery, order history, customer messages, refunds and related personal data are processed through Etsy and are subject to Etsy’s privacy policy and terms. SafeSEL receives the customer and order information that Etsy makes available to a shop owner for fulfilling and supporting an order.
External links
The website links to Etsy and may link to educational or professional sources. Those services control their own data practices. Opening an external link may allow that service to receive technical information such as your IP address and referring page.
Cookies and analytics
SafeSEL does not currently use advertising cookies or a separately installed analytics service. Essential technical storage may still be used by the hosting platform for security and reliable operation. This section will be updated before optional analytics or marketing technologies are enabled.
Children’s privacy
The resources are intended to be selected and used by adults. Children should not submit personal or clinical information through the website or Etsy messages. Adults should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information about a child.
Retention and rights
SafeSEL does not maintain a separate website customer database at this time. Information connected with Etsy transactions is retained and handled through Etsy and as required for order support, legal obligations and dispute resolution. Privacy requests concerning a SafeSEL Etsy order can be sent through the Etsy shop; requests concerning Etsy’s own processing should be directed to Etsy.
