Privacy Policy

How information is handled on SafeSEL

Last updated: August 3, 2026.

SafeSEL is operated by Sophia, who also runs the SafeSEL shop on Etsy. This policy explains how information may be processed when you visit the website, use optional analytics or purchase a digital product through the SafeSEL website or separately through Etsy.

Information you provide

When purchasing a digital product through the SafeSEL website, you may provide Paddle with information needed for checkout, such as your name, email address, billing location, tax details and payment information. Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes payment information under its own privacy policy. SafeSEL receives the transaction and customer information needed to deliver the files, verify access, provide support, prevent fraud and keep legally required records.

Technical information

Vercel hosts and delivers the website. It may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, security signals and error logs to provide, protect and troubleshoot the service.

Etsy purchases

Some SafeSEL products are also sold separately on Etsy. For an order placed on Etsy, checkout, payment, digital delivery, order history, customer messages, refunds and related personal data are processed through Etsy and are subject to Etsy's privacy policy and terms. SafeSEL receives the customer and order information Etsy makes available to a shop owner for fulfilling and supporting that order.

Paddle purchases

SafeSEL website purchases are processed by Paddle. Paddle may process payment, fraud-prevention, tax, invoicing and transaction information as merchant of record. SafeSEL uses the resulting order information only for fulfillment, customer support, accounting, legal compliance and resolving disputes.

Cookies and analytics

SafeSEL uses Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to understand visits, improve resources and measure advertising. For visitors in regions that require prior consent, these optional tools remain disabled until the visitor accepts them. For visitors in the United States, measurement may be enabled when the page opens, with a clear option to opt out at any time through the Your Privacy Choices control. SafeSEL honors browser-enabled Global Privacy Control signals by disabling optional analytics and advertising cookies. The visitor's choice is stored in the browser. Essential checkout technologies may still be used when a visitor chooses to purchase a professional training product.

US privacy choices

US visitors can use the Your Privacy Choices link displayed on the website to disable optional analytics and advertising cookies. Where applicable, this choice is treated as a request not to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. A browser-enabled Global Privacy Control signal is honored automatically for that browser or device.

Children's privacy

The website and products are intended to be selected and purchased by adults. Children should not submit personal, payment or clinical information. Adults should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information about a child.

Retention and rights

Transaction information is retained only as needed for fulfillment, support, accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Paddle and Etsy handle requests relating to processing they control.

External links and policy changes

External services control their own data practices. This policy may be updated when website features or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
